• Real weather data. We simulate years of historical sunshine and temperature for your location instead of using one average number.
• A complete parts list. We suggest panels, batteries, controllers, inverters and the small parts people forget: cables, fuses, connectors and mounts. Where we have no checked part, we say so and list what to look for.
• Many brands, chosen by specifications. We compare products from many manufacturers and pick parts by their technical specifications for your needs.
• Published method. Our methodology explains how we get our numbers and where they can be wrong.

How we work

Our articles and product data are based on manufacturer datasheets, standards and published studies, and we list the sources we rely on. We do not claim to have tested products unless we actually have.
